Established in August 2023, Fruits & Roots Community Fridge Project Funds supports the establishment and maintenance of community refrigerators in Lackawanna County, including, but not limited to, making refrigerators availability in the community, stocking the refrigerators, and spreading the awareness about community project. Fruits & Roots Community Fridge is a volunteer-run, mutual aid project which makes fresh food available to communities via open access refrigerators.
