– The student must be a graduating senior from a high school in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, or Pike county
– The student must currently play baseball in a high school program and have plans to continue to play baseball in college
– Student must be a resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania
– Student must intend to pursue a degree from a college or university
– Student can trace their ancestry to Poland, Ireland, or Russia
– Student must be a graduating senior from a qualifying Lackawanna County High School
– Student must be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year of four-year college or university
– The student must be a graduating senior from North Pocono High School
– The student must have a GPA in his or her academic school career that shall not be below the average GPA of his or her class, and that has been maintained during his or her entire high school career
– The student must intend to pursue a college degree
– The student must have the proven ability to participate at a college level in at least one of three sports: basketball, football, or baseball (or a combination of the above)
– The student must be matriculating in the practical nursing program at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County
– The student must have demonstrated characteristics of academic achievement, good citizenship & service to others, and leadership.
– Financial need is not a stated criteria, but may be considered in selecting a candidate for the scholarship.
