Danielle Faramelli Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student from Valley View High School who demonstrates creativity, uniqueness of style, good citizenship, and compassion and service to others.
David Gallagher Memorial Foundation Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student selected by Abington Heights High School who shows an interest, skill, or proficiency in art and who is seeking a higher degree or certification.
Dr. Bernard Shair Memorial Scholarship
– The student must be a graduating senior from the University of Scranton
– The student must matriculate at an accredited school of dentistry in the year in which the award is made
Dr. E. C. LaCoe Scholarship Fund
– The student must be a graduating senior from Abington Heights Senior High School in good standing in the year the scholarship is presented
– The student must have demonstrated characteristics of academic achievement and/or be an honors student, good citizenship and service to others, and leadership
– Financial need is not a stated criterion, but may be considered in selecting a candidate for the scholarship
Dr. George J. Hallesky Memorial Scholarship
– The student must be entering his or her sophomore year at Johnson College
– Preference, in the following order, will be shown to applying students who: have academic achievement in English, displays leadership qualities, and is engaged in community service activities
