John R. and Maureen J. Pesavento Lackawanna College Scholarship
– The student must be a graduating senior from a high school in Lackawanna County
– The student must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at Lackawanna College
John R. and Maureen J. Pesavento Penn State Scranton Scholarship Fund
– The student must be a graduating senior from a high school in Lackawanna County
– The student must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at Penn State Scranton
– Preference, in the following order, will be shown to applying students who display leadership qualities and are engaged in community service activities
Jonny Rosenstein Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for graduating Abington Heights seniors who:
– Were a member of Abington Soccer Club (ASC) for at least 2 years
– Are a two-year letter winner in Abington Heights soccer
– Has demonstrated sportsmanship and team spirit
– Has a passion for soccer with an emphasis on being a team player
– Has demonstrated love and desire for the game, and a strong work ethic
– Have a demonstrated financial need
Joseph (Firp) and Charles Pacino Scholarship
– Lakeland High School graduate located in Mayfield
The student should demonstrate the following:
– Academic achievement and/or honors student
– Good citizenship and service to others
– Leadership
Joseph J. Costa Memorial Scholarship
– The student must have completed at least one semester at Lackawanna Junior College and be enrolled as a student at the time of his/her selection for the scholarship
– The student must demonstrate characteristics of academic achievement, good citizenship and service to others, and leadership
– Financial need is not a stated criteria, but may be considered in selecting a candidate for the scholarship
