About the Presenter
Susan Decker is a BoardSource senior governance consultant and the director of the Master of Leadership Development program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and leadership, she specializes in governance, fundraising, board development, and strategic planning.
Susan has held significant roles at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she managed a $150 million fundraising operation and led a team of 200. At Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, she oversaw governance training for over 100 local boards and directed the Race for the Cure series.
She currently serves as chair of the governance committee and vice-chair of a foundation board, continuing her commitment to strengthening nonprofit leadership and governance.
