About the Presenter

Teri Ooms is the President & CEO of The Institute, a leading data, analytics, and research organization. She oversees research, strategy, and management and is a principal investigator on many projects. Ooms is nationally recognized for her work in regional economic development, and under her leadership, The Institute has completed over 200 studies, driving job creation, new programs, sustained initiatives, and legislation. Ooms also serves on several nonprofit boards. Previously, she was President/CEO of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership in Riverside, CA. She holds a BS in Public Administration and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Scranton.
