The scholarship will be given to an incoming student who shall be selected by Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. The student will be eligible for the award during all four years of medical education. The student must be a Lackawanna County resident, be interested in pursing primary care medicine, practicing medicine in Northeastern PA upon graduation, demonstrate financial need, and demonstrate evidence of past leadership in community service and/or service to others.
