Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence

The Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence, established by the Scranton Area Community Foundation in 2012, is dedicated to enhancing the capacity and impact of nonprofit organizations in the Lackawanna County region and beyond. As part of our commitment to supporting the nonprofit sector, we organize the NEPA Learning Conference, a flagship bi-annual event designed exclusively for employees, board members, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations.

The NEPA Learning Conference, held bi-annually in downtown Scranton, offers a platform for invaluable learning and networking opportunities. With a focus on advocacy, diversity, equity, and inclusion, this regional conference convenes renowned industry experts to empower attendees with tools for collaboration, fundraising, leadership, capacity building, and more. Our last conference was held in 2023, and we are excited to announce that the next one will be in 2025.
