Application Now Open for the Sheldon Family Foundation 2021 Grant Cycle
The Sheldon Family Foundation at the Scranton Area Community Foundation is seeking applications from nonprofit organizations for its 2021 grant cycle. The Sheldon Family Foundation will award grant funding to nonprofit organizations in the following focus areas:
Natural Resources and Conservation
Parks and Open Spaces
Animal Welfare and Protection
Libraries and Historical Societies
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving communities and located in Lackawanna, Bradford, Wyoming, Susquehanna, or Sullivan County.
Grant applications for the Sheldon Family Foundation will be accepted through the online grants portal at the Scranton Area Community Foundation until Friday, April 30, 2021.
To begin the grant application process, create or login to your account by entering the following information:
A username that is an email address
Your contact information
Your organization’s information, including the EIN/Tax ID number (required)
Contact information for the organization’s Executive Officer
Please note that the Sheldon Family Foundation will ONLY accept grant requests through the online portal at the Scranton Area Community Foundation. No paper or emailed applications will be accepted.

The Sheldon Family Foundation was established at the Scranton Area Community Foundation in 2019 to enrich the lives of peoples residing or visiting Lackawanna county or the Endless Mountains region, including Bradford, Wyoming, Susquehanna, and Sullivan counties.
The Sheldon Family Foundation focuses on providing funding for arts, natural resources and conservation, parks and open spaces, animal welfare and protection, libraries and historical societies.
The Sheldon Family Foundation is administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation.
