This award is presented annually to a woman whose vision, dedication and courage has enhanced the quality of life and expanded the opportunities for the people within her community; and whose creative interests, energies and service to others have contributed substantially to the betterment of her community.
The recipient of this award will receive a monetary award of $1,000 for the purpose of enhancing her role as a community leader interested in improving the quality of life in Lackawanna County.
