Since 1954, the Scranton Area Community Foundation has worked to responsibly steward resources and inspire transformative philanthropy to build a strong and vibrant community. With over $110 million in charitable assets under management, the Foundation has made a lasting impact—supporting local nonprofits, expanding access to vital resources, and creating meaningful opportunities for those in need.
We invite you to join us in celebrating a historic milestone in the Foundation’s journey—we are proud to announce our new permanent home: a dedicated space designed to strengthen our mission and expand our reach. This new facility will serve as a hub for vital services, a state-of-the-art learning and training center for nonprofits and community groups, and a gathering place for community leaders to come together and address the most pressing challenges of our time.

Parking information and building access
The building is handicap accessible via the rear entrance on Moir Court, and elevator access is available to most areas of the building.
General parking for this event is available in the Temple Israel lot, located between McKenna Court and Monroe Avenue. Vehicles can enter this lot via Pine Street.
A drop-off and pick-up zone will be available on Moir Court for guests who prefer to be dropped off closer to the entrance. Vehicles should enter Moir Court via Olive Street. After dropping off guests, drivers can continue down Moir Court, turn right onto Pine Street, and then turn left into the general parking lot.
Additional parking is available in two designated lots on Moir Court. To support accessibility for all guests, we kindly ask that these lots be reserved for individuals who require accessible parking accommodations.
Clear signage and staff will be on-site to assist with directions.
