The Scranton Area Community Foundation is pleased to share several updates to our Board of Governors and staff team.
Our Board and staff play an important role in guiding the Foundation’s work to responsibly steward charitable resources and inspire transformative philanthropy across Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are grateful for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to strengthening our community.
New Leadership for SACF’s 2026 Board of Governors
The Foundation is pleased to announce its new Board of Governors officers for the upcoming year.

Dave Price now serves as Chair of the Scranton Area Community Foundation Board of Governors. Previously serving as Vice Chair, Dave brings strong leadership and a deep commitment to the Foundation’s mission.
Dr. Jay Bannon will serve as Vice Chair, Dr. Bryan Frantz as Secretary, and Bill Joyce as Treasurer.
Together, these officers will help guide the Foundation’s strategic direction and support its continued work across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
SACF Welcomes new 2026 Board Governors
The Foundation is also pleased to welcome several new members to the Board of Governors. Each brings valuable expertise and a shared commitment to strengthening our region.
Karen Domiano, Matthew Haggerty, Esq., Channel Kearse, Heather Bailey, Donna Barbetti, and Dan Santaniello

Karen Domiano is a business owner, community leader, and longtime advocate for education and the arts in the Scranton region. A Marywood University graduate, she previously owned Domiano Chevrolet & Cadillac—the first woman-owned dealership location in the nation for both brands—and later founded D’s Restaurant. Karen currently serves on the Board of Directors of Scranton Preparatory School and the Advisory Board of Fidelity Bank, with past board service at the Ballet Theater of Scranton, Our Lady of Peace School, and Saint Joseph’s Center.

Matthew Haggerty is co-owner of QE Manufacturing and QCast Aluminum, and previously served as CEO of Times-Shamrock Communications. A graduate of Villanova University and Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law, he brings deep legal and business leadership experience, including a background as an Assistant United States Attorney. Matthew has long been active in the region’s nonprofit community, including a previous term as Chair of the SACF Board. He lives in Scranton with his wife, Chrissy, and their five children.

Channel Kearse is a passionate community builder who works at the intersection of people, policy, and purpose. With experience in outreach and government relations, she is dedicated to fostering relationships and creating sustainable opportunities for growth. She is also a proud mother of three, which fuels her commitment to creating stronger communities for all.

Dan Santaniello has served as President and CEO of Fidelity Bank since 2010, leading the organization through a period of significant growth and national recognition. He is deeply committed to Northeastern Pennsylvania, serving on numerous local boards including Marywood University, the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, and Friendship House. A proud Marywood graduate, Dan brings decades of banking leadership and civic dedication to the Foundation’s mission.
We are grateful for their willingness to serve and look forward to the insight and leadership they will bring to the Foundation’s work!
SACF Welcomes Kristy Blanco to the Finance Team

SACF is thrilled to welcome Kristy to our team! She brings more than a decade of financial and administrative experience across banking, mortgage processing, bookkeeping, and office coordination.
Beyond her professional background, Kristy holds degrees in Integrative Health Sciences and Complementary Alternative Medicine, along with advanced diplomas in Herbal Studies and Clinical Aromatherapy, and certifications in Biofield Tuning, Biomagnetism Therapy, Natural Products Manufacturing, Homeopathy, and Iridology.
Outside of work, Kristy is a mom of four who loves reading, live music, traveling, hiking, and paddleboarding.

Congratulations to Board Governor Marion Munley on Her AAJ Presidency-Elect

Congratulations to SACF board governor Marion Munley, who was sworn in as President-Elect of the American Association for Justice.
A partner at Munley Law and one of Pennsylvania’s most respected trial attorneys, Marion has spent over a decade in AAJ leadership roles, and we’re proud to see her step into this national honor. Congratulations, Marion!

Congratulations to SACF’s Brittany Pagnotti, Director of Donor Relations & Communications, who was featured as a Noteworthy Woman by Happenings Magazine!
The feature highlights Brittany’s path into philanthropy and her work building donor relationships across the region, including her role in growing NEPA Gives into the region’s largest giving day.
Vivian Williams Appointed to Governor’s Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities

Congratulations to SACF’s Vivian Williams, Vice President of Strategy, who has been appointed by Governor Josh Shapiro to the newly established Governor’s Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities.
Vivian will serve a two-year term representing Lackawanna County, bringing her commitment to community and disability advocacy to this statewide role.
Board Vice Chair Dr. Joseph Bannon Honored at 2026 IHM Sisters Celebration

Congratulations to SACF Board Vice Chair Dr. Joseph Bannon and his wife, Tracy Bannon, who were honored with the Spirit of IHM award at the 2026 IHM Sisters Celebration.
The event also supports the retired Sisters of IHM, whose decades of teaching, caregiving, and community service continue to shape our region. Congratulations, Dr. Bannon!
Koren Clark Receives Community Transformation Award


Congratulations to Koren Clark, SACF’s Community Impact and Outreach Manager, for receiving the Community Transformation Award at the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce’s STARS of the Valley Awards.
Koren connects people, organizations, and resources across Northeastern Pennsylvania, leading regional efforts in workforce development, transportation, housing, food access, and community well-being. We couldn’t be prouder to have her on our team!
