Workforce Infrastructure Designed to Increase Regional Economic Mobility

At the Scranton Area Community Foundation, we have spent years convening partners across NEPA and building strong, durable collaborations through initiatives like NEPA Moves and NEPA Thrives.

What became clear, however, was that collaboration alone could not carry solutions forward without dedicated infrastructure to sustain momentum and accountability.

Through a partnership with JobsFirstNYC, we are helping close the gap between collaboration and change by launching JobsFirstNEPA and the NEPA Workforce Funder Collaborative—two complementary efforts designed to align leadership, data, and investment to drive long-term economic mobility and systems-level impact in the region.
