Fundraising Without the Fear: Simple Ways for Board Members to Help Inspire Giving

June 23rd | 5:30 PM 8:00 PM

Free Registration required.

Fundraising is a shared responsibility of nonprofit leadership, and board members play a vital role as both ambassadors and advocates. This session explores how board members can contribute to resource development through the 5 Ts of philanthropy—Time, Talent, Treasure, Ties, and Testimony—while also strengthening their ability to communicate the organization’s mission and impact.

Participants will learn practical, approachable ways to support fundraising efforts, build meaningful relationships with donors, and confidently represent their organization. Through simple storytelling techniques and real-world examples, board members will develop skills to effectively share their passion, inspire support, and deepen public engagement.
