Highlights from the 2026 Spring Grants Meeting ✨

05.18.26

Because of you, an evening of connection turned into real impact as Women in Philanthropy awarded $42,000 in grants to programs supporting women, girls, and families across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

At this year’s WIP Spring Grants Meeting, supporters came together to hear directly from inspiring nonprofit leaders and to take part in something powerful: helping decide where funding would go. Your voice and your generosity helped shape these decisions.

  • Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA – Resilient Mothers: Maternal Mental Health & Stabilization Program ($8,750)
  • Indraloka Animal Sanctuary – Lotus Rising ($8,150)
  • Women’s Resource Center (WRC) – Safe Housing and Economic Empowerment for Survivors ($5,500)
  • Saint Joseph’s Center – Maternity Housing Transition Supplement ($5,400)
  • Lacawac Sanctuary Environmental Education Center – LeadHER in STEM Symposium ($5,000)
  • Recovery Rises Foundation ($5,000)
  • United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA – Multicultural Housing Stability Program ($4,200)

Each of these programs meets a real need in our community—from supporting a mother’s mental health, to helping a survivor find safety and stability, to opening doors for girls to explore their future.

Your support is what makes this possible. Thank you!
