Updates from the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative
Here are the latest updates and news from the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative…

NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative Google Group

The NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative has recently created a Google Group! Google Groups is a service from Google that provides discussion groups for people sharing common interests. The NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative Google Group was established by the communications committee and provides an opportunity for anyone involved with the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative to share resources and communicate quickly and efficiently. We encourage you to join the Group for another way to stay connected!

Our committees are hard at work! In addition to the communications committee creating the Google Group for us all to stay connected, the steering committee is currently working on creating a Code of Ethics. More updates will be provided soon.

Please take this brief survey…

Many of our discussions have centered on a serious need for shelter and rescue veterinary services. With the current public health crisis, we are hearing that many shelters and rescues are struggling even more now to prepare for a potential influx of homeless animals due to the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the challenge of obtaining veterinary care for rescued animals in our region is even more important. The Collaborative would like to understand more about this issue and how it is impacting you and the animals (and people) you serve, in order to seek a solution. Please take a few moments to answer a few brief questions. The deadline to complete this survey is Friday, April 17, 2020. Complete only one survey per organization, please.
