6:00 p.m. ETThe Scranton Area Community Foundation believes that serving as a partner to nonprofit organizations is one of its key strategic pillars. Through the Foundation’s
Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence, we aim to provide high quality and timely training, support and information to help nonprofits meet their critical missions and to build stronger communities.
The impact of COVID-19 on our lives, our activities, and our communities has affected us all. The Scranton Area Community Foundation’s Board of Governors and staff are working with other regional funders, health care providers, and community partners to make sure that the nonprofit organizations in our communities are best equipped with evidence-based information to help educate and inform their clients and other community members about COVID-19 vaccines.
To that end, The Scranton Area Community Foundation and its partners are providing a series of COVID-19 vaccine educational activities which will be delivered virtually, in order to help build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to address common questions and concerns surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine and vaccine distribution.
The first of these webinars, COVID-19 Vaccine 101: Vaccine Basics – A Training for our Nonprofit Community, will be held on Tuesday, February 16th at 6 p.m. in partnership with Geisinger.
