Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles Fund to Host Calendar Raffle

Ten-year-old Matthew McDonnell, a fourth-grade student at South Abington Elementary School, has battled and defeated a rare form of kidney cancer four times since 2014. Now, he’s on a mission to help others.

Through Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles, a fund at the Scranton Area Community Foundation, Matthew and his family are on a mission to create awareness about the need for funding for pediatric cancer research and give back to the community by raising funds for local families battling pediatric cancer.

From now throughout the month of August, Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles will host a monthly calendar gift card/cash raffle to raise funds to support the mission of the Matthew’s Hope 4 Miracles Fund.
