This fund awards a scholarship each year to a sophomore, junior, or senior student at any Penn State campus who’s permanent residence is in Lackawanna County, PA. Applicants must have a W-2 from employment at either at Penn State through work study or an outside employer and continue working while enrolled as a full time student. A 2.5 GPA or higher is required. Demonstration of activity in or service to the community is preferred but not required. Financial need will be considered. Student should be willing to offer a similar scholarship when he or she is in a position to do so in the future (no legal commitment is required).
