LAST CALL to apply for a grant from the MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund!

Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

The MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund at the Scranton Area Community Foundation is seeking applications from nonprofit organizations in support of animal shelters or animal rescue efforts working to help abused, abandoned, or injured dogs.

The MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund will award a limited number of grants in amounts up to $5,200.

Grant applications for the MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund will be accepted through the online grants portal at the Scranton Area Community Foundation Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Apply for a Grant from the MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund

The MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund was established in May 2019 in memory of Mary H. Acker to support animal shelters or rescues. Specifically, the purpose of the fund is to support Pennsylvania animal shelters and/or rescues that have a no-kill policy, and which are working to help abused, abandoned, or injured dogs.

The MHA Memorial Shelter/Rescue Fund is administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation.
