The Michael Hanley Endowment Fund

To honor the legacy of past United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA (UNC) President and CEO Michael Hanley who retired from his leadership role after 30 years of service, The Michael Hanley Endowment Fund for United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA was established at the Scranton Area Community Foundation by UNC in 2019 to support the charitable mission of United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA. This fund provides an important source of income for vital initiatives at UNC.

This month, Mr. Hanley is celebrating a birthday! To honor his special day, we’re highlighting The Michael Hanley Endowment Fund for United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Mr. Hanley made a significant impact on UNC and the community during his 30 years of service and leadership. When he retired in 2019, UNC established this organizational endowment fund to pay tribute to his special legacy and support the work and mission of the agency for generations to come. A donation to The Michael Hanley Endowment Fund benefits the life-changing programs and services that UNC provides to vulnerable individuals and families.

Please join us in wishing Mr. Michael Hanley a happy birthday and continuing his commitment to making this community better for all!
