James F. Swift Scholarship Fund
The James F. Swift Scholarship Fund was created by Mr. Swift through a gift to the Scranton Area Foundation in July 2002 to provide support for higher education of young people in Lackawanna County. Four-year renewable scholarships are awarded annually to graduating seniors at high schools in Lackawanna County for educational expenses at a college or other accredited educational institution.
James F. Swift Scholarship
- Student must be a graduating senior from a qualifying Lackawanna County High School.
- Student must be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year of four-year college or university.
