The pandemic has put renewed focus on housing, with small to mid-sized cities across the nation facing an array of challenges and opportunities. Individuals and families seeking to live in smaller cities like Scranton have spurred new investment and restoration of historically blighted properties while low-and moderate-income residents have faced rising housing costs amidst increased economic distress.
This event provides a venue to discuss the state of housing in Scranton. It will includes presentations by the panelists, and will address the following questions:
