Help us set the strategy of the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative

The NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative is a project of The Scranton Area Community Foundation.

On Thursday, January 30, 2020, the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative will host a Strategy Meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center.

This meeting will be to finalize a formal strategic plan for the collaborative based on discussions over the past several NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative meetings. Teri Ooms, Executive Director of the Institute for Public Policy and Economic Development will take us through a strategic planning meeting, working with attendees to finalize a vision, mission, and targeted objectives in the selected focus areas of spay/neuter TNR, foster homes/homeless animals, and collaborative resources for animal welfare, shelter workers and rescuers.

This Strategy Meeting is open to participants in the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative interested in having a voice in steering and shaping the activities of the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative. We invite directors, founders, or leaders of animal shelters, individual rescue organizations or groups, and related animal welfare organizations to participate. If preferred, another representative from the organization or group can attend on their behalf.
