The NEPA Gives Campaign Director will play a key role in securing corporate and business sponsorships to support the continued growth and success of NEPA Gives. This part-time, contracted position is focused on relationship building and sponsorship development across the full NEPA region, working collaboratively with all partner community foundations. The NEPA Gives Campaign Director will provide regular updates to NEPA Gives leadership and the Community Foundation collaborative as requested. Coordination of specific sponsorships may also occur directly with partner foundations.
The ideal candidate is a confident, persuasive relationship builder with experience in fundraising, sales, or business development, who is comfortable engaging business leaders, cultivating partnerships, and securing sponsorship commitments.

This role supports sponsorship outreach across the following counties: Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Potter, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne, and Wyoming. A flat travel stipend will be provided to support regional travel associated with this role.

Responsabilidades clave

Sponsorship Development & Fundraising:

• Identify, research, and solicit businesses and corporate partners throughout the NEPA region for NEPA Gives sponsorship opportunities
• Secure monetary sponsorships at various giving levels
• Clearly communicate the value, impact, and regional reach of NEPA Gives to prospective sponsors

Grantmaking & Relationship Building & Cultivation Support:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, corporate partners, and community stakeholders
• Cultivate partnerships that may extend beyond a single giving day when appropriate
• Serve as a primary point of contact for business sponsors throughout the solicitation and commitment process

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with partner community foundations to develop and maintain a shared regional contact list
• Coordinate outreach efforts to avoid duplication and ensure a unified regional approach
• Provide regular updates to partner foundations on outreach progress, sponsorship commitments, and opportunities

Tracking & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of contacts, outreach efforts, and sponsorship commitments
• Track progress toward sponsorship goals using a shared spreadsheet
• Provide periodic reports to NEPA Gives leadership and partner foundations
  

Cualificaciones

• Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship development, sales, business development, or relationship management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable making cold calls, warm introductions, and in-person or virtual meetings
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, community foundations, or regional initiatives is preferred
  

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Contract (1099) Position
• Part-time from Febrero 15, 2026 through Junio 15, 2026 (Expected 20 hours per week commitment)
• Flexible schedule with availability during standard business hours
• Compensation will be provided as a flat monthly fee between $3,500-5,000, commensurate with experience and scope of work
• Regional travel required with flat fee stipend provided

NEPA Gives is the largest regional day of giving in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This giving day is supported by a collaboration of community foundations, including Scranton Area Community Foundation, The Luzerne Foundation, the Wayne County Community Foundation, Greater Pike Community Foundation, Carbon Community Foundation, Community Foundation of Monroe County, Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers, Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, and our marketing partner Posture Interactive.

In 2026, NEPA Gives will celebrate its 7th anniversary. Over the past six years, the giving day has collectively raised millions of dollars to support nonprofits serving communities across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
