The Frank L. Burke IV Memorial Foundation invites you to the 5th Annual Bogeys for Burkey Tournament on Domingo, Septiembre 6, at Pine Hills Country Club.
This annual event celebrates Frank’s life while raising funds to support the local Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
The Frank L. Burke IV Memorial Foundation invites the community to come together for a day of golf, live music, raffles, and more.
Established by Frank’s family in 2022, the Frank L. Burke IV Memorial Fund supports charitable causes and organizations that honor his memory. Sustained through the annual Bogeys for Burkey golf tournament, the Fund is administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation.

7th Annual Harry P. McGrath Memorial Golf Tournament & Dinner Celebration

Registration is now open for the 7th Annual Harry P. McGrath Memorial Golf Tournament & Dinner Celebration on Viernes, Septiembre 18, at Glen Oak Country Club.
Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Greater Scranton YMCA’s Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program, helping local children continue learning and thriving throughout the summer months.
The tournament brings friends, family, and supporters together for a memorable day of golf, fellowship, and giving back.
The Scranton Area Community Foundation administers the Harry P. McGrath, Esq. Memorial Fund, established in Mayo 2022 by Harry’s family to support the charitable causes and organizations important to him, including the Greater Scranton YMCA’s Summer Loss Prevention Program.

6th Annual NEPA Invitational at the Country Club of Scranton

The 6th Annual NEPA Invitational, hosted by PGA Tour player and NEPA native Brandon Matthews, will return to the Country Club of Scranton on Septiembre 26–27, 2026.
The weekend kicks off with the Harmony for Hope Gala on Viernes, Septiembre 25 at the Scranton Cultural Center—an evening of music, stories, and community generosity benefiting Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and other local charities.
To date, the NEPA Invitational Fund at the Scranton Area Community Foundation has provided more than $800,000 to support organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA, Meals on Wheels of NEPA, Outreach, United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties, and Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
Since its founding, the NEPA Invitational Fund has provided more than $800,000 to support charities across the region and established the William Lawler Scholarship for local junior golfers. The Fund, created in partnership with PGA Tour player Brandon Matthews, is administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation.

4th Annual John Dougherty Memorial Golf Tournament

The John Dougherty Memorial Golf Tournament returns to Pine Hills Country Club in Taylor, bringing friends, family, and supporters together for a meaningful day of golf, raffles, prizes, and community.
The tournament kicks off with lunch and registration at 10:30 AM, followed by a noon shotgun start and a fun-filled day on the course.
The day concludes with happy hour and dinner, bringing friends, family, and fellow golfers together to celebrate John’s memory.
Administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation, the John Dougherty Memorial Fund supports NAMI and the John Dougherty Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship supports a graduating senior from Scranton High School intending to pursue a secondary education.
