Announcing the 2023 Steamtown Museum Association Fund grant opportunity!

 

The Scranton Area Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications for the annual Steamtown Museum Association Fund distribution. $18,700.00 is available for distribution from this fund in 2023.

Grant distributions from the Steamtown Museum Association Fund are used for:

 

• the restoration and preservation of railroad artifacts and related educational projects.

 

 

Applications must be received at the Scranton Area Community Foundation
online scholarship portal by Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Applications must be received at the Scranton Area Community Foundation via our online grant management portal
To apply, you will need to log on to your organization’s account in our online grant management portal. If your organization does not have an account established, you will need to create an account.

1. At the login page, please follow the appropriate next step:

a. If you have already created a login: you must login using the credentials you’ve utilized for previous grant applications. NOTE: username is always an email.

b. If someone else in your organization has already created a login: please email grants@safdn.org to have a new user added to your organization.

c. If your organization has never accessed our online grant portal, create your account using the following information:

• • A username that is an email address
  • Your contact information
  • Your organization’s information, including the EIN/Tax ID number (required)
  • Contact information for the organization’s Executive Office

2. On the applicant dashboard, select “Apply” along the top menu to view available grants.
